Default Plug-in possibilities when next model hits.

I haven't seen this mentioned but I've been thinking if Toyota starts producing a plug-in model and If the design of the new model doesn't change dramatically, we should be able to convert a second gen model with this feature.

Perhaps someone takes the ideas Toyota uses on this model and retrofits something for an older model for less than current costs of conversions.

Anyone have any comments about this

Sorry, I can't remember the link, but there was something from the recent talk Watanabe(?) gave about Toyota plans for next year, and there was something in there that the next gen would be harder to hack into.
