Anyway I have had a quick search and have as yet been unable to find a post that detials what the differences are between the first and second generation of the Prius. I am sure they are out there so a point in teh right direction would be great thanks. Though I may be pushing my luck any specific info on the UK models would be useful as well. |

My Car: 2004 Prius Package: Pioneer #3 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 3 | I'm quite curious what you are interested in knowing... since I owned a Classic model for 3 years, then upgraded to a HSD model for 3 years, and have been heavily documenting my experiences all along the way. Check out my website. Now into year #7 of owning a Prius, finding out what your perspective is could be quite refreshing. The new owners certainly contribute to the never-ending excitement. In short, this newest generation upgraded the battery-pack, electric motors, overall operation, and the user interface features. We got electric A/C too. |

More noisy when the ICE is crankin' (easy to fix with sound deadening) Coolants LLC (not SLLC) and transmission fluid type T IV (not Type WS) Front towing eye bolt hole open to collecting road crud (needs a cork in it) European NHW11 had rear disc brakes and folding rear seat back pass-thru to trunk.

They're layed out in the same format, and as such can easily be compared for simple statistics. |
