I can't find the OBD plug on my 2005 Prius. On all my other cars it was located on the bottom of the steering colum. I want to hook up a scangauge. Can the scangauge be hooked up to run continuously?

Thanks,
Bill

I believe it is the same place as my '06, between the steering collumn and the display console just back of where the dash wraps under.

Yes you can leave the Scangauge plugged in all the time, mine is on my Prius and my F250 4X4. Be sure to set the scangauge engine to 'hybrid' or it wil shut off when the engine shuts off. The scangauge will power itself down a few seconds after you shut off the car.

Works great, can hardly wait 'til the USB mod is available for the scangauge to enable other hybrid items to be displayed.

Good Luck!

If you're sitting in the seat with your foot near the accelerator,
the plug is over your right shin. Which gets in the way a little
bit if you're driving around with an OBDII dongle in there! ...
