I think the standard headlights on my '06 are adjusted too high and I would like to adjust them down just a bit. Can an owner do this or is this a dealer only project? Haven't found any postings on this topic.

Yeah you can do it yourself.

The headlight adjustment knob is a little rough so I suggest wearing gloves. It feels like a cap of a beer bottle in terms of roughness.

I can't remember which way moves it up and which way moves it down but I'm sure you can figure it out.

Oh and it's unpainted metal in colour. They're located inboard of the headlight assembly under the hood.

A photo helps too. This is of the passenger side adjust wheel. The spastic red outline is probably due to heavy drinking
