2012 Prius C - Entune subscription needed?

    My Droid X2 seemed to connect (via bluetooth) to the car, and I was able to get Traffic updates before I even signed up for Entune or downloaded the app. Is Entune required, or can you just use your phone as an Internet connection for your car?
