Yes on the brakes. The lower-grade models do have power mirrors but they are not heated.

Yes. They're used sparely due to regenerative braking..

Yes, that is annoying. I hope they'll wise up and do something about it.

I am thinking of doing a 360 degrees turn around and buy a Prius C too!

I was thinking of buying a tacoma double cab to replace our aging honda passport, but serious I am tired of this gasoline prices imposed by the greedy A$$ company.

I don't drive too much, avg about 1k miles a month. Wife is a perfect candidate for a hybrid since she drives 2k miles a month with the lexus es350. The reason I need the passport is to haul the jet ski & projects around the house :). I can just leave the passport for weekend duties and drive the prius C for work & errands.

I hope the dealers won't bend us over for the pricing of the C. If they do, I just wait until prices drop.

Looks smaller than my wife's Insight. But probably gets better mpg--50 vs 42 she gets.

She's had the Insight for 2 yrs--30K miles. No problems. Loves it. She paid $18.5K, and I think it's still worth pretty close to that. Great car.

I'll take my Prius II. Still like it better than the later Priuses--up to now.

On the same lot as two Prius C's, one base ($20K) and a IV ($25K), a used 2009 Prius III with 35k was selling for $20k.

A question about the interior - do the rear seats have door pockets (or whatever they are called) to store stuff? Are there cupholders in the back? From the pics I have seen, I haven't seen any, but maybe I'm missing it.

So there is NO storage in the back at all, aside from the one seatback pocket? Not one single cupholder? Ugh...

There's a cupholder in the center console tray in the C1; C2/3/4 have a flip-out cupholder in the back of the center console box.

On another note, doesn't the Prius Liftback also lack rear door storage bins/bottle holders?

And you can always install seat pockets for the back sides of the front seats. They are also good to keep the rear side of the front seats clean if you have small children.

correct, the liftback only has rear cupholders in the rear fold-out armrest.

the v, as well as the Camry, do have bottle holders in the rear doors.
