ABG: Azure halts Ford Transit Connect Electric production, Ford still confident in EV program

    Do consumers purchase the completed vehicle from Ford or from Azure?

    If the vehicles are purchased from Ford, then Ford will need to stand behind its product or return deposits (which will look bad for Ford).

    However, if the consumer purchases the vehicle from Azure, then technically it's an aftermarket product sold by Azure and not by Ford.

    Its sad but not unexpected.

    Its warranted by Ford, and was only sold to fleets.
