    Prior to this thread (no cheating by looking it up), were/are you even aware of the BMW i3?

    (Just trying to get an idea of the awareness of Priuschatters on it.) And no, I don't really care about the car.

    The scooter engine (not even motor cycle) is small and light and should be a fine extender for short trips. Gotta love a car/company that goes for a <2gallon gas tank in the range extender just to satisfy some silly CA rule for ZEV. Buw with <8sec 0-60 it will still be a fun car and with a BWM name there should be some interest for those buying nameplates.

    I would have been hard pressed to tell you what the name (i3) is/was . . . . but even harder . . . would be to tell you what color they call this:

    I'm guessing that if you stared at it long enough - you'd see one of those 3D pictures embedded in it. Either that or you get dizzy and fall down.

    Yes, and it has gotten a lot of air time already and has yet to be released. It will be a success because its a BMW.
