Backup beep disable.

    Old complaint but I am distracted by the noise when backing up. Does anyone know the proceedure for disabling the backup beep of a 2012 Plugin Prius?

    The dealer can turn it off. You cannot do it yourself on a Gen III unless you have a scanguage and follow the instructions some on here have provided to do it. But having a way built into the car went away starting models 2010 and up.
