    It's pretty sweet!

I shut off the Prius. My cell-phone disconnects from the car. The system at home detects the cell-phone, enabling all the cordless handsets in the house to use that network for calls. There's no traditional service, yet I now have a setup that works like one anyway.

The configuration works great for me with just a single phone. For those with a family, you add another line and use that as the one for home calls.

    Gotta love it.

    Isn't technology great!

It comes with 3 handsets and an answering system. Got mine for $89.76

For family use, it could be rather handy. You never touch the cell-phone itself... just interact with the handsets. Keep in mind that the hardware can ALSO handle calls from a traditonal line too. Toggling between the two and being able to share an answering machine would be convenient.

As for me, all I have is the cell service... and it has become quite a thrill now when I drive away in the Prius. The home bluetooth disconnects and the car bluetooth connects, all automatically.
