Does unhooking the 12v battery for 30 seconds clear the codes?

Are you 100% sure you correctly inserted the orange service plug.

It is a 3 step process
    1) Insert orange plug into battery pack
    2) rotate handle upwards
    3) slide orange handle straight down until you hear it click in place

Step three is the one most often missed.

Go in back right now and go through 3 steps.
Not 1 step. Not 2 steps. 3 steps!

edit: Also, double check that all computer harnesses are fully engaged.

I would get a scanner where you can see live data to discover the problem.
    Especially HV ECU info.

You saved money on buying a battery.
Put some of that money towards a better scanner.
Your going to need/want it for future repairs you will be doing to the pack.

Feel free to call me and chat.
