Can I raise/ lift my Prius? (2011) Moved to mountians, rain on it's way-hopefully.

    Just moved up into the mountians, so far I'm loving living off grid... but my Prius is so low, don't know how long it will last at this rate. All dirt road-steep, rains are on the way (hopefully, coping with drought in CA). Been thinking about getting bigger tires? Lifting it? Any advice? I am reluctantly considering getting a truck...help!

    Trade in for a used Ford Escape hybrid. Or just buy a subaru.

    In a few years you'll see more plug-in CUV hybrids like the mitsubishi outlander plug in they are selling in europe. I think that's ideal for off-grid living because i'm assuming you have your own solar and/or wind power??
