    If there was any hope that Russia could be a reliable energy supplier in lieu of the middle east, this (along with their natural gas cutoff last winter) should dash those thoughts...

    Transneft's decision has disrupted oil supplies to central Europe
    The European Union (EU) is to hold talks with Russia and Belarus in a bid to resolve a row which has led to a cut in oil supplies to much of Europe.

    The EU was dragged into the energy dispute when Moscow cut off a pipeline, accusing Belarus of stealing its oil.

    The International Energy Agency (IEA) has said European oil markets will be able to cope with the shutdown as all countries have sufficient stockpiles.

    Belarus has been in dispute with Russia over the price of Russian oil and gas....
