hello, i just replaced the engine in my 07 prius, now im geting this codes: c1203, c1259, c1310 and c1345, the gas engine sterts like for 5 minutes, stops and restart in less than 5 sec, will keep doing this and the battery wont charge, please help!!! \ thank you
You replaced the engine yourself? Or someone else? Battery status? How long has it been since the car first broke down and needed a new engine? Find out as much as you can about the status of your batteries and how to improve their status...
I would go over every plug that was taken off and reinstalled during the repair, and check them for tight and clean connectors, no damaged pins, and no pinched or loose wires. If this was in an accident, there might be some damage to the wiring elsewhere.
well the car was not in an accident, the engine suck water in, the car is a 2006 with 89000 miles, so i had another engine with tranny so i replaced both, and yes i replaced the engine myself, im an auto mechanic but im new to this prius, i got 4 of them that i bought to resale.
