Does anybody know what these are?

    A couple of weeks ago I found a metal bracket sitting on the ground underneath my 2012 Prius C. Today I found another one. Does anybody know what they are? I park in a shared parking lot; spaces are not assigned so it's entirely possible they didn't come from my car at all. But I would like to know for sure in case there's something I need to be worried about.

    Doesn't look like anything automobile related.

    I've worked with cars for 50 years or more. Haven't seen these parts.

    Looking at the objects in the background those look like they are pretty small.
    Honestly I don't know. -But being so small, those could be anything, including something that just happened to get dropped in the parking lot.

    They actually look like some sort of clip on brackets for some rails; maybe for a portable sign.

    Apparently, they are NOT a car part that I've ever seen.

    Thanks everyone for your replies. It seems like the consensus is that these are not car parts at all, but probably something else that dropped in the parking lot. Just for completeness, here are couple more pictures of the parts with a tape measure for scale.

    I would put them back in front of the parking space you found them. Some one will likely soon be needing them back.
