Does this chip really work?

    I notice the ad for the EForce chip onPrius chat site.

    Has anyone installed this chip and what are your findings?:cool:

    They don't work. None of the chips help the Prius, as it is already a finely tuned device.

    The advertisements on PriusChat are not under the control of the site owner. Third party advertising companies pay to place ads of their own choosing.

    It works at extracting money from the unsuspecting.

    It MAY even work at defeating the pollution controls so the computers think the engine is always warmed up. There are shortsighted folks who would rob their children's health to save a penny today, clearly I am not in favor of undoing Toyota's achievement.

    You want to DO something so you feel like you are getting better mileage? Add air to your tires.

    As all have stated, NO! However if you feel you must invest money in a Prius, Paypal the KK6PD Toys for the rich fund! I promise to use all monies collected on a Prius. :D
