I just got a new Prius V wagon. I do not know what exactly happed but the glass on the fog light broke. It is glass and I am worried about just replacing it again with another Glass Fog light. I would like to replace it with a plastic lens head light so it will not brake again. The Toyota dealer ship want $189 to replace it. I would like to do it myself but I am unsure what aftermarket unit to buy. I am not sure if it is the same as the stanard Prius. I can not find anything that states it is exctly for the Prius V wagon. Any help???
If it wasn't a rock hit, call Toyota and they may choose to give you a one time "good will" replacement. The fog lights in gen 2 have been known to crack as a result of a design flaw. Could be the same problem with the V.
