For sale: Custom subwoofer box and 10" sub for 2nd gen 2004-2009 Prius

    Features:
    - Solid MDF construction, tightly sealed
    - Loaded with 10" 300W RMS/600W peak Rockford Fosgate Punch PS3 shallow mount sub with dual voice coil (2X2 ohm or 1X4 ohm) currently wired for 4 ohm. This sub is designed for small enclosures which is why it's loaded in this box
    - Beefy grille
    - Covered to match beige interior but can be re-covered to match any interior color

I had about 300W RMS going to this sub and it was truly impressive. Intestine-shaking bass!

Asking $100 for the combo + $40 shipping (it's quite heavy so I think this is reasonable).

Questions, please let me know! IMG_1720.JPG IMG_1721.JPG

I don't understand exactly where this enclosure fits. It looks like it fits in the rear alcove thing on the passenger side above the battery and in front of the light access cover. Is this correct? Do you have any images of its actual fit?

If that is correct, how is it secured there?

I have the stock nav HU in my 2008. Would I require additional gear to support this sub (an amp, etc)?

I'm interested, but so far casually.

Thanks for your questions, if you have them maybe others do too.

Yes, it fits in the right side compartment of hatch area behind the right taillight. It's got some Velcro strips on the bottom that keep it in place and it fits flush when it's installed. I'll look for a pic of it installed but unfortunately sold the car so can't take a new pic.

Yes, you would need to hook it up to an amp, which would either run off of speaker level inputs from the stock stereo or RCAs from an aftermarket head unit. You would want to run an amp with at least 200w RMS to get good sound out of it.

    Thanks again for the interest!
