Is Battery Vent Cover Installed Correctly?

    Snapped this photo after installing the battery and I wasn't sure if the battery vent cover (I think that's what it's called) was in the correct position. It doesn't seem to have a place where it snaps in. The solid black piece that snakes over the top of the battery (Yellow Top) just rests up against the part with the vertical black slits (Hot Air Outlet). Honestly, I don't see how it could be in any other position other than what's pictured because everything is so tightly fitted...but I wanted to be sure. Vent1.jpg

    Not a filter. More like a VERY lightweight "flap".

    and what would that be for? intake or exhaust?

    I'm pretty sure it's to exhaust excess heat or gases.
