Love Your Slideshow On the Basic?

    Since the 'basic' package doesn't have the ability to have a 'custom start-up image' I figured I'd try the SLIDESHOW, explained on page 75 of the second section of the "Display Audio System Owner's Manual". Of course it can't be used when in motion so I sat there for a moment and watched.
    I wonder how many of you have 'walked on the wild side' and watched a slide show... Who thought this would be a popular feature anyway? I'm not sure how much use this will really get; am I missing something here?

    I have a memory stick plugged in with a bunch of goofy pictures of my family, friends, dog, etc. Sometimes when I'm stuck in bumper-to-bumper gridlock or even a really long traffic light I'll turn on the slideshow and it makes me smile when I'm otherwise having a crappy commute :)
