My Wife's Prius Progress

    So we got her a P2 Prius about 7 weeks ago (12/23/13), and this is what we have done so far.

    I gave it a very thorough detail, and coated the car with an urethane coating that permanently protects the paint, which also eliminates the need to ever wax the car again. Pictures are of after the detail was done.

    Looks cool.

    I've not heard of any coatings that make it so you never have to wax the car again though. Even the ones that say that, it's mostly hype from everything I've heard. They wear off in a couple of years. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

    I've had it last on a friend's car for 4 years before he traded the car in for a new car. Water was still beading like day 1 when he traded the car in. My customer's GTR is going on strong for 2 years now, it's showing no signs of slowing down.

    Everything looks great. Well, almost everything... those headrest cushions(?) Wth? :eek:. Definitely takes away from the Clazio seat covers lol.

    Except for those "Bear" headrest additions.

    Unless your wife is Goldilocks I'm not going with those.

    cu2mike - I've been looking everywhere for pictures of clazzio seat covers installed. In most, it's really difficult to tell how they truly look. Yours look perfect! Are they black or dark gray? And, are the center inserts leather or pvc?

    Thanks man. I can see a pretty big ripple on the side of the passenger seat. Did that smooth out? Overall, how happy are you with the fit, feel and smell?

    Brand of coating is Opti Coat Pro by Optimum, it is for professional use only. They make an Opti Coat 2.0 for consumers.
