    Hi all

Ok, I just 3 weeks ago had all my fluids changed and a cabin air filters. Ever since, I swear the air heater is not functioning right.

    1. The air seems cooler, not as hot
    2. Repair shop burped coolant line 3 times
    3. The air from floor vent warmer than front vents.
    4. Connected scan gauge 2 and all looks good

    Any thoughts?2010 model

unfortunately, the prius needs to be burped more than regular cars. have them look at the toyota service manual on line.

Could an air bubble explain the temperature difference between the top and bottom air vents?

    cool. MMy plan is

    1. Park car on big Hill pointing uphill
    2. Put car in maintance mode to keep engine running
    3. Turn heater on "Hi" blowing max
    4. Wait 15(?) minutes

    Questions :

    1. Should I open the coolant overflow container cap?
    2. Is 15 minutes too long or short?
    3. Will this require more than one session?

i've never heard of doing it that way, so i guess it would be an experiment. you might try reading through some of the existing threads for help on bleeding the air out of the cooling system. remember, it doesn't work like a regular car.

I read on this board about raising the front end and maxing hot air...
