    Hey guys,
Im really sorry but I didnt read through the whole thread. I have been reading threads for a couple hours now trying to find a pid for my new pip. I just traded in my tundra and 08 prius about 5 hours ago.

Im loving the car but Id like my torque app back. All this tech stuff is way over my head otherwise I would help you guys.

Please let me know if there is a working version somewhere.

When you were running Torque with your 2008 Prius, you downloaded the custom list of PIDs, right? The spreadsheet is the list of PIDs that work on the 2012 PiP.

If you've never done that before, basically, you need to get the spreadsheet that Vincent referenced onto your Android device. Then, run Torque and under Settings you can install a custom PID list.

I see two files. One dated 10/9/11 and another 4/24/12. Do I need to add both to my phone or just the newer one?

Both are for the non-plugin Prius, you should either download the spreadsheet that I linked and convert to CSV or you can use Tracksyde's CSV file.

This one caught my eye. I wonder if I can use it to turn on the windshield defrost and keep the ICE off. :D

I doubt it, mode 21 are Read Only mode, it only returns the status. Mode 3x commands may be possible but you need to know exactly the address or the offsets, sending the wrong command can cripple your car.

Vincent, I think these are in reverse.
    • HV battery discharge control
    • HV battery charge control
The discharge should be a positive number, like the other HV battery power PIDs. For example, Power Resource IB (battery pack current) is positive when it is draining.

Btw, is there a way to read out the individual pressure readings on the tires?
