I was stopped in a parking garage yesterday when a car made a left turn very (very!) close to my front bumper. My car beeped (I think), the "icy road" icon on my dash lit up and my car would no longer creep forward as it had been doing. (It did start creeping forward again, but only after I applied the gas pedal and the icy road icon went off.) A little later, the same thing happened when I let another car turn left in front of me, again pretty close to my front bumper, while I was stuck in traffic on the street. Is this normal? What is the purpose? I have a v5, non ATP, BTW.
