    Clearly, the Japanese auto manufacturers have signalled a massive increase in Hybrid car production to their material suppliiers. Do you think that Detroit is doing the same?

    Don't know. I mean if they're more concerned about being first (GM) then that's fine.

    You just better hope they can keep up with demand.

    I don't see the US manufacturers giving a serious attempt at entering the hybrid market. I think most of everything they will do is only going to be for show. They really only want to concentrate on Vehicles that they can sell at high profit margins.
