TFS offering ridiculous good deals on PHEV - Are these vehicles just not selling?

    With all due respect to $100+ a month higher prices posted by the High PRIUStess, TFS is offering ridiculous low prices / cashback on the PHEV. Are these vehicles just not selling?

    And, rates and deals vary in different parts of the USA.

    As always, this is a region-specific deal.
    Not national.
    I'm in Southern CA where we're also delighted to have green HOV stickers. And, I just peeled two of my dear friends out of their cars (one a Camry hybrid 2009 and the other a 2008 PT Cruiser) and into their new Prius PHEVs which were not even a blip on their automotive radar till the lease rates dropped and the bonus cash made it sensible. Even though the lease means no $2500 tax credit next year, it makes sense for them both financially with their commutes, respectively, asnd the HOV stickers are a dream come true.
    I'm selling PHEVs fast as lightning anyway, and at a discount.
    July 31, it ends... although I sure hope they re-start it after Aug 1!!!
