Have the second one sent to your neighbors house or an alternate address...

    Dude, love the avatar! SILENCE!

I was over at my friends over the weekend, and she saw the Prius, and automatically thought of the segment with Walter.....I have to admit, it is kinda funny and Jeff Dunham is a master at his craft!

:focus: I have my badge on the way :) just under 2 yrs and just over 21k miles.

Yeah I thought about that, but then I realized that'd be trying too hard. Haha. If I had 2 Priuses I would combine the stats and take the lowest year onto one badge. That's essentially the point right? How much CO2 total you've saved....

My badge stats are pretty lame considering I've only had the car 8 days :p

Mine are, too, but fortunately I cheated. Taking credit for all 41,000 miles on my 2007 when I've only had it for 6 months means a nice, colorful Prius badge delivered to my doorstep. In 6 to 8 weeks it will be like Christmas!

Anyway, I got mine as well. I didn't get any indication of what type it was. How many are going to actually apply them? I think I have to.

I think I'll put mine on the front, over the holes from the front license plate bracket!

I consider having a badge generated and mailed to you a bit of a waste of energy.

Actually the design of the badge makes me shudder. It looks like the aftermath of a stone hitting the windshield and the expensive result.

It's nice to see Toyota doing something this. They didn't have to. The perks of ownership I guess. Although, what's to stop somebody w/o a Prius from signing up?

Well, there's the dilemma. It takes a lot of energy to produce a car, so if you can get by without driving, it's better to not have the car at all. If you're only driving a tiny amount (like say, 10 miles/week), you're better off with a simpler cheaper car, or you'll never overcome the initial investment of creating the car.

But if you're going to be driving thousands of miles a year anyway, it's better to do it in a more efficient car. Toyota is assuming your miles driven don't change based on what kind of car you have.

(BTW, my Prius is my gas-guzzler. My other vehicle is a recumbent trike, all human-powered - and that gets 30 miles to the gallon (of milk, based on calorie input/output)).
