I was curious what everyone around here uses. I really want to use the RainX washer fluid, I love how the rain slicks off when driving, but it seems to do a terrible job of actually cleaning the dirt/dust/pollen.. and I say this because there are always massive streaks left behind regardless of how much or little fluid I use. Right now I'm trying half rain x and half cheap blue bottle stuff, and if anything the streaking is worse. Oh well!

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

I do the half and half w/RainX washer fluid and regular blue stuff. I don't get any streaks. I use as much fluid as I need to do the job.

OTOH, I have pre-treated my windshield with actual RainX. I'm sure that helps a lot. I love that stuff.

I use the rain-x bug wash (green) and it does a pretty good job for me, rarely any streaks. I also use rain-x glass cleaner that has rain-x in it also in between car washes. More than anything keeping the wipers clean really makes a big difference.

so followup question would be: are you using stock wiper blades?

    No idea what Toyota recommends..

Seems like having dirty wipers is what was causing the streaking issue. I re-filled up with Rain X fluid and cleaned my wipers off with window cleaner and a paper towel and everything looks nice and clear ;) thanks for that tip.
