XM/Sirius -- SIRIUS SCC1 Connect Universal Tuner & DICE DUO-101-TOY Silverline

Ok, so we wanted satellite radio in the Prius without having wires all over the place. We were advised that if we got the above items and installed them all we had to do was hit the AM button to cycle through all the various inputs -- AM, SAT1, SAT2, SAT3 and IPOD. It works as they said it would. However, it doesn't seem to work perfectly. One of the big issues is that if you leave the car off for 3 or 4 hours, it'll lose your satellite presets. Does anyone know if that's just the way it is, since this is just a workaround or if there's a solution?
