Hi everyone,
I replaced only the brake booster pump and now I want to make sure there is no air left in the system. (sometimes I hear sounds near the brake pedal that seem like air in the system).
In Techstream, the only place I found that bleeds this part is Utility - ABS actuator has been replaced. But after that, Techstream wants to run Linear Valve Offset.

Can I press EXIT when Techstream asks to start the valve calibration, and will that end the procedure safely without...
On the Gen 3 head there is a large radiator hose connection, then a cooling temp sensor, then a smaller radiator hose connection. On the Gen 4 head there is a large radiator hose connection, a temp sensor, BUT then 2 more electrical plugs? And I don’t see the smaller coolant port coming out of the head? Can anyone explain what I’m looking at on the new engine?...

My 2011 Prius has been unable to get through emissions testing at four different emissions sites now. It's a connection failure every single time. Sometimes it gets past one initial step but fails to connect later on and most times it doesn't connect at all (I've tried a few times at some of the sites). However my BAFX OBD reader works fine and so does the AutoZone one. There are no codes reported. I've checked the voltage and it's 12V on the OBD port, nothing weird there. Given the failures...

Hello all.

I have a 2013 Prius Persona edition. I inherited it from a parent 6 years ago, and while not a fan at first, I love it now and it refuses to die.
I have 143k miles on it and the shocks/ struts need to be replaced (I believe they are the originals).
I have a great local mobile mechanic that has done work on it and he has the rare option of me supplying my own parts when he works on my cars.

He has given me a labor quote of $250 to $312 to do the job.

If I get the parts from him...

Okay so I'm new here and I'm trying to figure out how bad it is before I start the disassembly. I have a 2011 that was involved in a low speed crash in the front. So I really needed parts and I think I may have found them.

So I found a 2010 that is very clean, really too clean however it refuses to move forward or backwards. I can shift it into what ever gear I want starts up and runs fine aside from an occasional surge. The oil and coolant also look good. The previous owner says it was...
