I was hoping someone could assist me in finding a solution? Nothing I can find on the internet is looking promising, so I am hoping someone here has more knowledge or options than what I was able to find.
This year I purchased a 2019 Toyota Prius Tech edition AWD with the 11.6 touchscreen. Is there ANY option to get Android Auto or Apple CarPlay into this vehicle? I am open to suggestions including replacing the screen and parts etc…
Price is of no concern at this time....

How common is this? I found an old thread (2017( where users thought this was related to a USB connection however I am not using my USB port at all.

I can't believe if this has been happening since 2017 that they haven't fixed this by now. Appears to be a software problem as it doesn't correlate with going over a bump or anything like that.

I’d prefer door speakers at 20-20 or at least not so crappy like 45-60 hz.

For a sub I’d want one 10 inch ported 20 hz. Not crazy power tho im not into that. I joined the Prius family last week! Sold my 2011 4Runner and picked up a 2018 Prius Four Touring for a great price. I've loved every minute of it so far — except for one thing: no CarPlay.

Back in 2018, I upgraded my 4Runner with a third-party stereo that had CarPlay, and over the past 7 years, I got pretty used to all its features. So naturally, I’ve been looking into options for adding it to the Prius.

From what I’ve found so far, there’s no upgrade for the stock 11.6"...

A month ago, the aux (12v) battery died twice in a month. I was able to start it with a jump starter. I tested the wheel before installing and compared the clock springs. Looks like I may be missing a plug on the harness for the clockspring. Will ask here and then in a new thread - does anyone have a diagram for the electrical connections on a 2021...
