I thought to start with buying a used Master Cylinder Assembly from the junkyard but first I went to Toyota to get a part number. Toyota said my VIN needed the 47050-52040 because the car came with 16" wheels....

I’m working on my own 2016 Prius C (NHP10L). It took a hit in the front and the frame rails are now… let’s say “not factory spec” (photos attached).

I brought this car from the US for my wife, so I’m trying to bring it back to life instead of turning it into garage art.

My daughter has a 2012 Prius C with about 110,000 miles on it. She bought it used with one previous owner. The vehicle looks like it was relatively well maintained.

When should you replace the strut coils on it? Is there a set maintenance timeline or miles for it or is it only when you see cracks in it or do you measure the height of the ride?

Also, how often do you change the strut?

I went on Ebay and found pre-assembled front shocks/struts/suspension that are compatible with my 2014 Toyota Prius C.

I installed them and my car is sitting 3.5" higher than before. It's very noticeable.

ChatGPT and Google Gemini think this is probably because they are the not compatible but that it might be because the bolts were tightened in an incorrect sequence. They say I should tighten the knuckle bolts with the weight of the car down but I can't do that because the wheels...

Does the prius c have any lift points in the front or rear that allow both wheels to be suspended in the air at once?

Or which locations do you use to lift it and then put a jack stand under?

The pigtails are perfect for the tail lamp, but it just doesn't lock into the reverse lamp. Toyota wants to sell me the entire tail light wire harness. Anyone know where to get just a pigtail or a way to fabricate a t15 into this space....
