I just filled up for the first time while paying attention to the trip calculator vs math at the pump. I was getting 68 MPG's on the trip, but when I did the math problem at the pump it only equated to 65 MPG's. Is this the appropriate amount of error, or does this seem high?

    thanks

last tank comp read 63 mpg, calculated was close to 59.

    Thanks,

I am currently using fuelly, but I do not have enough data to get an exact MPG reading yet.

My dash reading reads 4.5 to 7.5% higher than actual MPG calculated, with it mostly being in the 6 to 7% range.
