I installed my H11 Philips headlights. Ive had these in every car I own except for my Vette. They are very good and last very long.

That is very, very nice. You used EL wire? Where did you put the converter?

Thanks! Sure did, makes it super even around the emblem, no hot spots from LED's. I placed the converter for the front emblem right behind it. For the rear I routed the wires through one of the license plate light housings, with the converter inside the hatch. The converters are really small, maybe an inch by a half inch box.
Here are some dark pics! Don't mind the light out...I plugged in the harness backwards, its fixed now.

Oh and in case your interested, I'm working with Danny to try and set up a group buy for these. I can do them for 45-50$ for both emblems, not trying to make any money. I can let you know where that ends up if you want!

I let a GM sales guy run the VIN to see what he would give me towards a 2013 Volt. Yup, I almost pulled the trigger. So close to trading due to the annoying rattles and wind noise.

Tomorrow I'll work on rattle control. :)

Has it always made noises or did it just occur overtime? Just curious so I might know what to expect in the future

It has gotten worse over the last few thousand miles. I think a lot of it is due to lower temps (40F-60F) but even when I first purchased it in March, temps were similar and it had zero rattles. I keep lowering my tire pressure knowing that the low profile tires are not helping. At 36-34psi it still rattles.

I've tried putting felt furniture tabs in the usual places and it seemed to help a little but they are still audible. The dash rattle/noises are the ones that worry me most. I'm at 30,000 miles.

I added a bunch of round felt furniture pads at various points on the car and I temporarily removed the "strut" that attaches to the lower glove box. I am happy to report that the rattles were very much reduced and only noticeable when hitting large bumps. Because the roads were wet and I was traveling at 65070mph the road noise may have masked the more quiet rattles but overall the ride was much more pleasant than it has been. Now I just have to come up with a better looking method to reduce the rattles. Black vs. green felt pads would be a good start!

I had a problem with a dash rattle when new. Like you, when it was cooler in the 50s and 60s it would rattle. When it warmed up into the 70s it wouldn't. I took it to the dealer 3X and the first 2X they put foam tape all around the dash and that didn't fix it. Then they just ended up replacing the whole dash cover and putting foam tape and that seems to work.
