    Had mine for over a year. No issues. Reception is as good as the "duckie."

    The short flexible antenna has long been known as a "rubber duckie." Maybe I'm dated, but that originated in the 1970's with the CB lingo and that craze.

    The Prius Chat store has a Shark Fin that is quite nice. If you go here and look through you can see different mods people have done: What did you do to ur Prius today???? | Page 77 | PriusChat

    I linked directly to my post showing the shark fin. It's super easy to install. Reception is good and It stands out among all the other BP Pri I've been seeing around lately. Where are they all coming from!!!!!????

    I have the prius chat one. blizzard paint matches exactly installation straight forward and looks great no notice in loss of reception but i am on XM 90% of the time.

    Easy, as long as you have good hand-eye coordination.

    Getting the alignment right is the toughest part. I used masking tape to mark the boundaries.

    I have only taken my car through the touchless and the carwash that doesn't have brushes but those fabric strips. So far so good.

    I used the blue tape to do it. I lined it up, taped all the way around then wiped with alcohol, then straight dawn, wiped clean, more alcohol, and more alcohol, wiped again, alcohol again, wiped dry and then applied. LOL I was making damn sure there was no wax there.

    Has anyone used the one from beatsonicusa? It's much more expensive but heard its bigger and gives better reception

    A few members have it. Yes, the consensus is it's bigger and generally gives better reception. You'll need to decide whether you want a bigger or smaller shark fin for the look you're going after. The shapes are also slightly different.
