    I read on some other thread that it would be better not to do the LED mod on the vanity mirrors. Seems the issue was the brightness that was causing trouble with owners' girlfriend (too bright and very blinding; when trying to put on makeup).

    5000k/6000k color temperature LEDs also tend to be a bit harsh on flesh tones; 2700k-3000k is in the range of complimentary, but defeats the usual reason for installing LEDs.

    Not really. It was trial and error for me... using extreme care... The only areas of concern with pry points are map light area and trunk area.. the all else was ok.

    --- which is exactly why I put them in.. so my wife puts her makeup on in the house and not the car... LOL!
