Yeah they are static, they don't adjust with the wheel movement like my friends '14 Escalade  But at least I get way better MPG, haha.

Today I covered the front and rear toyota emblem so that they are now a black background with the chrome toyota symbol.
I ordered the carbon fiber look film online and simply covered the blue/black original plate behind the chrome. It ended up being VERY easy and no disassembly of the car was necessary. I think getting the blue off the car was a good thing.

I installed my TRD rear sway bar today.

    20140605_130824.jpg 20140605_130846.jpg 20140605_133658.jpg 20140605_133320.jpg

    A couple of notes:
    1) The instructions suggest using a bungie strap to hold the bar up during install. Great idea.
    2) The instructions suggest removing the lower shock mount bolts to give you better access for inserting and tightening the endlinks -- I found this wasn't necessary because I was able to gain access with my 15mm end wrench from above.

UPDATE: I wasn't extremely optimistic that this sway bar would make a huge difference. Now I've had a few days to try this out. There were a few turns on my morning commute where I could easily scare myself with the roll. This TRD sway bar has eliminated that. No more scary rolls!

You will definitely notice an improvement on your handling. Its fun and scary at the same time, but it feels so right

There is one particular freeway overpass on my daily commute that calls for this. This might be first time I've looked forward to going to work in the morning for a long time.

I'm not sure if either 1 is better than the other. I do know the Cusco gives u more ground clearance.

Do you have the emblem in the front that is covered with the clear plastic cover... I have a 2012 prius base hatch five edition and not sure if that's why. But its like the emblem is closed in this plastic closure. How did you get the front off? Its screwed on the behind right? I see you from Richmond and im from colonial heights

Do you have the advanced technology package? That Prius uses a different front badge & it cannot be pulled apart & plastic-dipped.

    iPad ?

A fellow member successfully plastidipped over it without interfering with radar operation. You'll just be covering it with no design.

Yep, the metallic coating on standard emblem would interfer with it. The flat radar-compatible emblem retails for $900!
