I havent physically looked at my bumper but in the parts diagrams that I have seen, holes are shown.

The mounts for the oem type foglights are behind the openings of the grill holes for the foglights. You need a grill with foglight openings to mount foglights. Make sense? ;)

Seeing as how LED technology is advancing so rapidly, I'm not sure I'd want to cut holes anywhere to mount fog-lights. Tiny bulbs with massive luminosity and low current-drain are making an appearance. No telling how they will best be mounted.

20141008_154315.jpg Well i finally bought the Plug-In Lower Grill Insert. Comes with the metallic trim on top. Part number# 5310247090B1. If you don't have a favorite parts store yet, try Ryan with Elmore Toyota somewhere in California. 1-800-997-9092

Well i got it today! The switch looks perfect and so does the rest! AND! It actually came with H11 bulbs installed. By far the most inexpensive that I have seen! 20141009_141942.jpg

    Maddy,

Thanks for the pics. Please send me pics of the way it mounts into the bumper when you get to that point. Also of the switch when it is mounted. Thank you so much.

If it's the standard Toyota foglight mount, two tabs on one side of the foglight slide into slots in the grill or shrouds, then 1 screw holds one of the two tabs on the other side of the foglight.

The dashboard switch just snaps in place of one of the blanks in the cluster containing the dashboard illumination rheostat knob.

Thanks for the info. What if I don't want the chrome piece? Could I use the grill fron the non-PiP?
