what is RPM range? and does anybody else miss their tach?

    Ah, my Prius spends 99% of its day 'engine on' (45 to 70 MPH speed limits) so I do not spend much time at 'engine off' so a tach makes more sense in my use.

    Hi John - thanks for putting my mind at rest. However I would still like to fit a live diagnostics monitor and just cant find a plug on the Prius that mine will fit. Can you let me know where the plug is located and if there are different plug pin arrangements for these devices

    The connector-port is directly under the steering-wheel, at the very bottom of dashboard covering.
