For anyone that has removed the rear wiper, did you use a metal or plastic plug on the window?

I know once sealed to the glass, there should be no movement, but I'm hesitant to use a metal plug due to the possibility of scratching the tint when bending the tabs to lock a metal plug in place.

    Any suggestions?

I used metal and no issues also. Just take your time bending the tabs and remember to use silicone.

[IMG]Received my custom emblem from Toyota today. Don't know if I will put it on my car yet. Pretty cool though.

    Thanx!!
I bought both plastic and metal plugs and am in the process of painting them. Might have time to do the delete on Thursday.

I've had my hands in there already when I installed a brake light flash module underneath the wiper motor assembly last week.

I ordered one of those too. Mine will likely end up on a PC case.

I installed a metal plug as well.. When u take apart the whole assembly even if you scratch something you won't see it.. It would be pretty tough to scrape the window in that section.

Installed my huskyliners the other day. So far I am very happy with them. The side one moves around a little (about a half inch front to back and vice versa) but the nibs are now starting to really bite the carpet and hold it in place so it is no longer sliding around as much as it did on day 1. The back one fits the best.

I have 2010 model prius and my front bumper and lights are converted to 2012 model so DRLs are wired to the fuse box.
