VIN numbers by year

    I'm trying to find information on Prius VIN numbers by year. Can someone point me to this info. I didn't find it on the Toyota site or on the Yahoo groups or here on PriusChat. I know in the past that Bob Wilson often posted info on monthly production totals, etc but I don't remember if he posted VIN ranges. Thanks in advance.

    All VINs encode the model year using a standard scheme independent of the manufacturer (except for a few edge cases where GM used A and so on).

    I wasn't clear, my apologies. I'm looking to find the beginning and ending VIN numbers for each year so I can tell how many were produced each year.
