    Hi
I just recently bought H11 HID from XD with the Phillips 4300k bulb an extra $45 for them to install on my Prius v4. I was very careful with them so I thought. I did the driver side fairly easy 10 minutes with mounting the ballast. But the passenger side took me 40 minutes and broke the tab on the bulb! It took longer because you want to remove the coolant tank, you can do it with not removing coolant but tight spaces. Anyhow just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who got the same kit the bulb replacement would be 74.99msrp EACH.

There are lots of good review about this bulb that why I went with it according to toyotanation forum.
Long story short I damaged mine :(. But luckily still work for the most part. Don't know how long that's all.

Here the damage bulb and the result.

If you are switching to LED bulbs and not the oem LED headlights (entire housings), then prepare to be underwhelmed.

It's been discussed many times. The LED bulbs out now, have the LEDs (one on each side), facing sideways on a circuit board. They do not do a good job of replicating the single point light source from a halogen bulb filament or a high intensity discharge arc. Therefore, it may put out a lot of light, but the geometry will be off, and the reflector and lens in the factory projector will put out a poorly formed beam.

Once installed, please post pics to see how they look. I too thought about getting LEDs at first. But went with HID instead.

Post pictures of the beam cutoff against a flat wall about 20 to 30 ft away. Also, the beam spread downroad.
