i have the OEM camera.

Then you need to tap your reverse in to your reverse backup positive(red wire) showing in the previous pictures.
I would ask the seller for the 4 plugs. Would to have everything working than losing some functionality.

 

Bought this plug from ebay and used only the female harness for the video in so you don't have to strip your stock camera harness just in case you wanna go back to stock.
You will also need a male video in.

 

that page was confusing because they are adding a new camera.

All I would need to do is tap the camera signal(??) and the trigger(reverse light as mentioned)

the camera signal is where i'm having trouble...

Quality of those speakers are pretty bad. It is only good for a shortime.

 

Even the JBL ones aren't that good either.

 

You will need 3 wires to make you backup camera to work.

1. Video in + wire
2. Video in - wire
3. Reverse in wire tap to your reverse positive red wire.


You will need to make an RCA Video male wire on pin #8 and pin #16. Your positive will be your middle wire on the RCA. The negative will be your outer wire on the RCA.

No problem. You will run an 18g wire fromyour headunit reverse in wire to your reverse positive wire on the taillight

 

im more confused....u said need 3 then point out 4 in the plug

where is each wire going to and coming from? step by step plz

 

Oh now I realized that you need to feed your back camera with 6.6 volts thats coming from your OEM headunit. Its getting complicated. I think the only way to overcome this is to change your backup come with a aftermarket 12 volts and feed it from your rear wiper source.

Ok I read up to page 9 or so, and skipped to the end.. this is VERY cool! I love the way the HU looks, and the functionality. I have a 2012 non-JBL stereo. But I think I found my dealbreaker:

I installed Sirius and its integrated into my stock HU. I cant integrate XM or Sirius into the hot pure android 4.4.4?? If I cant, Ill pass. But if I can, ill buy the damn thing tonight!! lol
