took my gen 1 to a mechanic to have the front ball bearing replaced, now the abs light is on and in over three hours of driving i only got one half regen symbol. i used to get atleast one every 5 minutes. what did he do wrong? update; the rest of the hybrid system charging system works fine. just no friction braking regeneration.

Your wheel sensor likely came unplugged or was unplugged. This tells the system if the wheel is spinning or not so it can adjust the ABS and may affect regen.
