It's funny you should talk about turning back the clock. I had already thought that we had paid more for our original Prius 10 years ago.

oh ya, big time. i can't imagine how far you have to go back. maybe there were some great deals in other times of low gas prices or recession, but these just seem fabulous. or else i keep buying at the wrong time.

I just got a 2016 Prius Two Eco for 20,282. not including taxes. Great price and I didn't have to negotiate much. They still have quite a few 2016's on the lot and are willing to deal. I was looking at a Honda Accord but the technology and driveability of the Prius was amazing. I am glad I looked and bought one. I still don't like the design on the outside, but I'll be in it driving it so I'm OK with that.

I'm in SoCal looking for a Three Touring or a Four. Anyone have any suggestions on which dealerships to contact?

I'm only interested in the Four for the Softex seating and the moonroof - I can do without the PCP. Anyone ever seen a four without the PCP package? Might not be available configured that way in SoCal.

Best price I've seen has been from Andy Vuong at Autonation Toyota in Irvine. $5186 off of a 2016 Prius 2. That includes the $2k from Toyota in lieu of 0% financing.

I'm looking at a Blizzard Pearl (white) Four (MSRP $34,013). How low do you guys think this can go? I have an offer at $28,270 so far.

    Is the @
$28,270 their first offer? If not, you can probably get at least another $500 off or at least have any fees included in that price. If you've had some negotiations that doesn't sound too bad a price if it includes taxes and dealer fees.

Yes that was their first offer. Looks like it was a good but not a great quote after all. I have since gotten quotes from several more dealerships. Several others are now quoting $6k+ off MSRP. This is in SoCal.

From what we're hearing So Cal has surplus inventory; you should be able to get a really good price for a Prius.

Which rebate did you choose? The $500 or the $2000 rebate?

My wife and I just purchased a new 2016 Prius 2 for $18900 before taxes and fees. Ended up at $21,200 OTD. Very pleased.
