    @Johnsk93 Thanks! I was pleased with how it turned out.

    And yes, I used Plasti-Dip. The stock silver that it came in didn't work with the greys of my interior, so I figured I'd darken it up a bit. If I get tired of it, I'm no more than 30 seconds from being stock again, with no harm done. The beauty of Plasti-Dip!

    On another note, does anyone know if you can order different face plates for these shifters?

    I had been selected along with 80 pre-screened cars to showcase at the Offset Kings car show and Formula D in Irwindale yesterday. I took home 2nd place VIP for my "VIP inspired" Pri. :)

    reducing my monthly over head frees up income to do other things...kids college fund, insurance, retirement....I actually bought the car @ 1.9%...so even that
    save 3000.00 and no more monthly payments...on a 1.9% loan

    Today's Project: Headlight Modding​

    After some experimentation on some beater lights I got on eBay, I decided that I finally have the stones to bake my beautiful G's lights.

    These Koito 47-52 units are awesome. They look super cool on the car, and they put out a great spread of HID light. As a matter of fact, a lot of headlight modding jobs are to make USDM headlights as awesome as these.

    But here's the problem.

    The JDM style cutoff for the HID beam is stair-stepped up to the left. That's great in Japan, where the oncoming traffic is on your right and the pedestrians, bicycles, and road signs are on the left. But on US roads this cutoff pattern is perfect for blinding oncoming traffic. To compensate I dialed down the height a bit. On dark roads at night this is scary.

    So, I'm on a mission to fix the cutoff.

    I ordered some extra Koito 47-52 projector guts ...
