    The biggest issue I see is that most DIY folks ARE NOT paying attention to torque specs.

    I would venture to say that there is a 99% chance that TJ S did not use a torque wrench to correctly tighten each of the connections in the battery or the battery wires.

    DIYers seem to skip over the idea of correctly torquing the nuts/bolts and "tighten by feel", assuming everything will be fine.
    This is an unsafe way of doing things. Especially when we are talking about high voltage, high amperage DC connections.

    Take your time. Purchase a torque wrench and use it.
    Your safety is worth it.

    Do you have a cheat sheet of torque values, what you'd consider the main, most critical ones?

    We do occasionally partner with dealerships but we mark our cells and cases to ensure our customers/people who end up with our packs can get in touch with us for info or repairs if needed.
