Yeah, I tried too, just out of curiousity, something needs fixing. Couple more thoughts, regarding making the data more international: 1. Date format: stick with yyyy/mm/dd? The US convention of mm/dd/yyyy is not universally understood, can be confusing. 2. Identify location so that anyone around the world can understand? "Victor, NY" is understandable in US, but it's a big world.
So far 5 Primes recorded. I know there are more on PriusChat. I counted at least 6 in some threads. Please add yourselves.
OK, besides the 5 that have Recorded and Fattypanda, I come across 16 other Prime owners. Please Record your info above. Thanks.
When you finally get around to it, be sure and update the www.fueleconomy.gov web site for owner MPG. Note that I've put in two, gas-only, entries. The EPA has pointed out they have no way to record electrical charge kWh which is OK for me. Both of my entries were gas-only. Bob Wilson
Bob, I charged my old Prius and now my new Prime at Home and at work, 15 miles away. I have a P3 International Kill A Watt at both locations, recording the daily kwh and totaling them every Gas Fillup. The Spreadsheet for the old Prius listed 57 members recording 433 Gas Fillups. 15 members had 10 or more entries. I had 80 entries in 5 years. We summed and averaged everything. Check it out - We could do the same for the Prime in this thread's spreadsheet. I hope to find all the Energy Monitor items before my fillup...
Looking at the O/M it seems there is no one screen like the PiP EV ratio summary. Also, one owner reported somewhere (was it inferno?) that Prime computer calculates EV miles differently than PiP. While PiP registers EV miles by the mode (miles with no ICE in HV mode are HV miles), Prime registers these as EV miles. Worth verifying. If this is the case then I think you will not find HV miles at all in the Prime's displays, registering miles with no ICE in HV mode as EV miles will result poor HV only mpg.
i hope that is not the case, it makes little sense. there wouldn't even be a way to calculate at the pump.
OK, I've seen 34 Prime members and only 12 have Recorded their info in the spreadsheet, so far. Please add you Prime.
