Does anyone own a 2017 Prius Prime Advanced in the Titanium color that could share some pictures with me. Because I live in Seattle we have to order a Prime if we want one as there is no dealer stock and the Titanium color interests me but I have never been able to find a picture of one.

You can go to Toyota.com and build a car there and select the color you want to see that car as.

I picked up a Titanium Advanced in Portland about 3 weeks ago- live in Gig Harbor, WA. - "Smoked silver" is a pretty good description of the color. I made a special trip to Portland to see the color on a Prime that had already been sold just to be sure the color was good. It is an outstanding color for hiding dirt. I can't upload, but if you PM me with an email I'd be glad to send a few pictures your way.

Hopefully that worked. The contrasting color is silver, of course. Titanium Glow is the darker of the two. It's best seen in person.

Great photos! How much were the stock 17s?

The wheels were listed on eBay as takeoffs with less than 20 miles on them for $600. I picked them up in Vancouver, WA and the seller refunded shipping. An outstanding and very convenient deal.

I've got a titanium glow plus. I kinda wish I'd have gotten magnetic gray instead.

That is a great price! It does make the Prime look quite sharp. I don't know if it's the angle of your driveway but in the side-to-side comparison, the Prime does look lower in the front and higher in the back giving it a "ready to pounce" look. What kind of AER are you getting? Based on the JC08 numbers, we should expect an 18% reduce to 33km (20 miles) assuming the 15" gets 25 miles.

I'm on my first tank of gas with about 800 miles so far-- That's nice. Just as my 2010 Trim 5 ATP (with 17" wheels), I do not notice any noticeable change in mpg (or electric miles in the Prime's case). As has been mentioned before in many threads, the biggest change in mpg/range has to do with your right foot-- I'm regularly getting between 25 and 30 miles on electric with a light foot and at reasonable speeds. Add cold and/or heavy rain and that goes down appropriately. So far it's been great.

And I believe we'd all like the electric range of the Volt, but weighing all the pros/cons, (most notably the Consumer Reports "much worse than average" rating for the Volt's predicted reliability), the Prime is the clear winner. The first 3 weeks with my Prime has been flawless and comfortable. We all know the Advanced is dripping in tech-- and another clear benefit: The titanium glow color really -- really hides dirt.

I live in Kent and would love to come down and look at the titanium color. I have to come over to Gig Harbor one day next week or weekend to take my stereo receiver in for some work at the stereo shop there down by the water. And, I would be happy to work around your schedule.

I am good friends with one of the sales manager at Toyota of Seattle and am thinking of trading in my 2016 Rav 4 Limited on a Prime Advanced model but the only color I have seen in person is the blizzard white and the titanium color really intrigues me.

Thank you very much for posting the pics!

Look forward to hearing from you!

I was thinking about magnetic gray until I saw my son's Prius: boring! Every other non-white car out here is metallic gray! You picked the right color. Oh yeah, I just happen to own the Titanium Glow Prime Advanced. Love that subtle color!

I selected the color without really considering the others. I figured a lighter color would keep the car cooler in the summer. It gets hot here. I think the magnetic gray color looks better with the black interior and in photos I've seen, it shines.

I also wanted a light color due to avoid heat gain. Love my Prius but it's a greenhouse in the summer.

    Mike,

Overall how do you like your car? I had a 2015 Prius Model Five Blizzard White and traded it in on a 2016 RAV 4 Limited Hybrid and regret it now. I get about 34 mpg in the summer and 32 mpg in the winter with it. I miss the 50+ mpg I got with my Prius. Although, the RAV 4 is much more comfortable riding with a nicer interior than the Prius had. I also feel safer in the RAV 4 with all the crazy nice person drivers here in Seattle than I did in the Prius.

I am looking at the Advanced model as well ... doesn't the screen on the dash seem too large or do you find that to be a positive?

Any pro and cons regarding the car would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you,

    Scott

The car is great. I have the Plus model. I didn't think I needed that big screen. I have solar and a L2 charger. It would be nice if the car got more EV miles and I had the JBL audio system. I put a hitch on the back and am using my bike rack. The carpool stickers are nice too.

I'm getting a Titanium Glow. Dealer said they don't carry this often so I made a trip to go see one as soon as dealer got one on the lot to make sure I like it. White is actually my fav but I can't convince myself to spend a couple hundred bucks on white when it's the most basic color for any other car.
