    Probably. You could ask at the dealership parts counter; they would know.

    Is the air really that bad over there? Lot of diesels and coal burning? :eek: On the west coast of BC, we're at 68K km's and 7~ years, still on both original filters.

    They are the same size as the 3rd gen Prius but comparing the two, there is a difference, but not in size. If you have some left over filters, I would use them.

    How do you change it? The original place inside the glove box is fixed with several screws.

    Well, the original place was -behind- the glove box, not -in- the glove box. But not having a Prime, I can't look. Buy me one and I'll check. ;)

    Take out the glove box completely first.

    You might try the manual. Page 620 for my advanced. "Replacing the cabin air filter". It has been in the manual of each generation of the Prius sold in the US since at least 2005.

    Dimensions are almost the same, but the pleats in the filter run at right angles to the standard Prius'. There is a tab in the Prius Prime filter carrier that prevents the Prius filter from seating. I've had to buy a replacement from the dealer. Wix and Fram listings for Prime just list the same number as for the Prius.

    The air's not bad here, but the mice are. I'm still trying to cover all the entrances to the ventilation system with hardware cloth. So far Mice 2, me 0.

    Have you looked at the Gen 4 filter? It is likely the same.

    Is there a poisonous mouse feed? Now that I’m in a rural area I also have to keep a lookout.

    I've heard they'll eat poisonous feed, then crawl back in the car to die. :(

    Also, maybe too risky: birds get into it, all sorts of critters?

    Why do mice love the Prius? I had to set traps in my 2012 and caught 2. This car was always garaged!

    50? :eek:

    Beats my 27 one year high total. Our two cats got at least half of those with the rest caught in the old fashioned snappy traps (placed outside the reach of cats - don't want to hurt my hunters).

    i know, right? we've been here 13 years, and that was high. it wasn't even a bad winter.
    if the poison doesn't work, there's a company that claims they can close up the entry points. i expect that to be expensive.

    The one thing I don't you think you can close up is the engine bay, too many openings at the wheel wells.

    One thing you can do though, The engine air intake looks like a perfect hamster run, with a cozy air filter box at the end. I recently installed this;
